Cloaking your link, shortening your affiliate URL or hiding your affiliate link
Many times we facing the situation that required us to hide our affiliate links. Some people use it to hide the link from affiliate hijacker, some use it for SEO sake and some just to shortening the URL.
Whatever your reason is i agree that we better hide that links for our goodness.
I used to create php or html to hide my links, today i found another technique to do that using PERL and javascript.
Ryan J. Parker wrote the interesting post about this called “shortening affiliate links for prettier linking”
Another technique reveal by the famous John Chow in his post called “hiding affiliate links for better seo”
John add no follow and no index parameter to tell search engine not to follow the link is no the content page.
